Bali is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Asia. The island has an abundance of natural beauty, a rich culture and an interesting history that attracts visitors from every corner of the globe. Bali also offers plenty of different activities to do while on your holiday, whether you're looking to relax at a spa resort or enjoy some surfing and snorkelling. You can even combine relaxing and adventure!
In this guide we'll take you through everything you need to know about Bali's resorts so that your next trip here is stress-free and enjoyable.
Best all-inclusive resorts for a couples retreat
If you're looking for a romantic getaway with your partner, look no further than the Four Seasons Bali at Sayan, which is located in Ubud. With luxurious accommodations and an excellent spa, it's not a surprise to see why this resort has been voted one of the top 10 most romantic hotels in the world.
The adults-only pool area gives couples ample time to relax together without children or other distractions. There are also plenty of activities available for couples if you're looking for something more adventurous: try cooking classes together or learn to surf on one of their surfing lessons!
If the Four Seasons Bali at Sayan is outside of your budget, another spectacular option is Blue Karma Dijiwa Seminyak. This is equally stunning, but more quaint and intricately decorated than significantly cheaper than the lavish luxury of the Four Seasons Bali at Sayan.
Best all-inclusive resorts for family getaways
If you're traveling with little ones, you'll be pleased to know that all of the resorts we've listed in this blog are family-friendly and offer amenities tailored specifically for kids. You can choose between options like babysitting services or an organized kids' program. This is where they will spend a few hours each day socializing with other children their age while their parents enjoy some time on their own.
In addition to the standard water sports (scuba diving, surfing, snorkeling) that most hotels have on offer, there are also educational excursions available such as turtle watching tours or visits to local schools if you want your children to learn something new while they're abroad!
Hotels usually provide one pool for adults only but often times there is a separate one designated just for kids under 10 years old. This is so everyone has enough space without being crammed into one area together! Plus it's fun because there won't be any drunk people around them.
Our pick for the most affordable all-inclusive family friendly resort that won’t break the budget like some of the other amazing options available is the SOL by Meliá Benoa Bali. Almost every review talks about how wonderful the staff are and the hotel's wonderful facilities, which include a spa and wellness area and a family friendly private beach. Also worth noting is that all non-motorised water activities are free on all-inclusive packages. But do book early, because places like this tend to get booked out in advance.
Best all-inclusive resorts for weddings
The premier resorts for weddings in Bali are the ones that will give you and your guests the royal treatment. You'll want a place that has plenty of activities, amenities, and excursions—but is also happy to cater to every last detail. The following resorts offer wedding planners who can help with everything from venue selection to transportation arrangements so all you have to do is show up ready to celebrate.
If you're dreaming of an outdoor ceremony overlooking the ocean, try Amanpuri Seminyak or Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay. Both properties offer spectacular beachfront locations for ceremonies with unmatched views of Mount Agung or Lombok's mountainous silhouette against the horizon as backdrops.
If it's rustic charm and natural beauty you want for your nuptials, check out Tandjung Sari Hotel & Spa. It offers private beaches with clear blue water just right for sunbathing before exchanging vows under a canopy of palm trees overlooking turquoise waters—or splashing around in them while having fun during post-wedding photo shoots!
Best all-inclusive resorts for a wellness vacation
When you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, it can be easy to overlook the added benefits of a wellness vacation. What does that mean exactly? Well, for starters:
A wellness vacation is one centered on mind-body practices and methods. This includes yoga and meditation, but also things like healthy eating or even fasting. You might think that sounds too intense for your taste, but honestly, it doesn’t have to be! The idea behind this kind of trip is that taking care of yourself reaps rewards not just physically but emotionally as well. If you're looking for some rejuvenation in your life and want something more than just lounging around by the pool all day long, this is definitely an option worth exploring!
When people talk about wellness travel they usually mean they want to travel somewhere where there are lots of activities available to them; options such as hiking through mountainsides or snorkeling around coral reefs are great examples. They also tend toward 'adventure' vacations–so if that sounds like something you'd like, this might be something worth considering! But don't worry: if you prefer something more relaxing then there's plenty out there too - there are plenty of resorts with gorgeous beaches nearby where guests can soak up rays all day long...and maybe even meet some new friends along the way?
The most popular option among the numerous mentionable wellness resorts in Bali is The Samaya Ubud which does not break the bank like some of the others. Here you can stay in your own private villa with a personal swimming pool and 24-hour butler service. Additionally, you do not have to venture to the wellness centre but can have wellness treatments in your private villa. Samaya Ubud is located in a very peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of Bali's tourism industry, making it the ideal spot to relax and improve your well-being.
Best all-inclusive resorts for budget travellers
Bali is a fantastic place to visit if you are on a budget. The island is home to some of the world’s most affordable luxury resorts, and there are plenty of inexpensive hotels and hostels that offer great value for money. If you’re looking to travel in style without breaking the bank, take advantage of these excellent deals when booking your next holiday.
Low-cost airlines such as AirAsia offer low fares between many destinations throughout Asia. Choose from multiple flights per day between Singapore and Bali, often with transfers through Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta. Also check out Skyscanner as they often have the most competitive deals on flights available from your location.
Affordable accommodation: A variety of cheap hotels are available throughout Bali including the OYO Homes 91091 which is a bit out of the tourist areas but only sets you back $10 and is worth it. Another fantastic option is the Dikaloha Surfschool and Stay where you can stay on the beach for a mere $15 per day. In one of our other articles we found an option for $12 per day including meals. So there are a lot of amazing options for the budget vacation of a lifetime in Bali. However, we must be fair and say that these extremely cheap options are not all-inclusive. The cheapest, top-notch, all-inclusive option we found is the above-mentioned SOL by Meliá Benoa Bali at around $90 per person. Still not bad considering that it includes meals and drinks and royal treatment with a private beach.
